Gerhard Richter - "art of the impossible"

Gerhard Richter (born February 9, 1932)     is a German visual artist. Richter has simultaneously produced abstract and photorealistic painted works, as well as photographs and glass pieces, thus undermining the concept of the artist’s obligation to maintain a single cohesive style. My early studies were in Fine Art ( BFA degree)  and I explored my wide ranging interests in painting, engraving, sculpture, photography and video. I often mixed and superimposed media, in a Richter manner. I now look for opportunities to integrate fine art sensibilities into my architecture.
