Ieoh Ming Pei (born 26 April 1917), commonly known as I. M. Pei, is a Chinese-American architect, often called a master of modern architecture. I have always admired his pure geometric forms and rational designs. I have had the opportunity to visit several of his buildings, Green building at MIT, JFK Library, National Gallery in Washington D.C., JP Morgan Tower in Houston and Le Grand Louvre in Paris. Pei, Cobb, Freed and Partners is still practicing in NYC.
